Founded in 2004 by antique dealer Luc Hédin, KOGEIYA is a gallery specializing in Japanese decorative arts and antiques from Japan and Korea.

A passion for Japanese and Korean arts... a bridge between our countries.

After spending several years at Drouot(find out more about my background & vision), I created KOGEIYA 20 years ago. KOGEIYAan online gallery offering a selection of pieces and antiques, most of them sourced directly in Japan and Korea.

All the Japanese and Korean artworks on display here are original, the later 19th and 20th centuries.

Several specialties:
- Medieval Japanese art and samurai art: weapons, Japanese armor and sword mounts (tsuba, kodôgu).
- Japanese decorative arts: Mingei, Kōgei & design
- Ancient Korean art and Minhwa
