Under the patronage of the Consulate General of Japan in Strasbourg, the Bibliothèque Universitaire de Strasbourg presents a magnificent exhibition of warrior art objerts, with a particular focus on the tsuba.
This exhibition, based on a private collection donated to the BnU and supplemented by pieces from public collections in the Grand Est region, presents Japanese warrior art in its entirety. An opportunity to (re)-discover an artistic field rarely presented in France.
To complement this exhibition, several conferences and screenings are planned, open to all, most of them free of charge (reservation required) to celebrate "Japan Month".
