Quiver (Yazutsu) made of black lacquered braided paper (kami-nagato) used for carrying arrows.
Beautiful example lacquered chocolate brown, with the mon emblem of Clan Asano.
Note the presence of braided diamond patterns.
Note: The koyori braided paper technique was in high demand during the Edo period.
