Japanese ukiyo-e print by Mizuno Toshikata (1866-1908) from the series of 36 elegant Sanjûroku kasen.
"Visit to the Onsen" (Yuakari, Kansei Koro Fujin): Bijin and cat.
Superb composition showing a woman in traditional blue-patterned clothing looking at a small cat.
Good condition despite slightly darkened paper (traces, but no yellowing).
Signed.
Dated 1891. Late Meiji 19th c.
Size : 37x25cm.
