“Woman of the Onin era [1467-69] (Tsujigimi, Onin koro fujin)”.
A beautiful, yet very luminous, nocturnal composition showing two Japanese women in traditional dress conversing at nightfall. Three men are in the background.
In good condition despite slightly yellowed paper (note also some marks) and a slight central crease.
