Print by Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858) entitled "Eijiri, Tago Bay and Miho pine forest" from the series of 53 Tokaido stations.

A superb vertical view of Tago Bay, dominated by the iconic Mount Fuji in the distance, bathed in rosy light.
In the foreground, the scene shows the Miho pine forest, Japan's famous poetic and mythological site, associated with the legend of the Angel of Miho.
Boats, white sails and fishermen's tents enliven the beach, while gradations of blue and green create a calm, luminous atmosphere typical of Hiroshige's late style.

Composition in the pure style of the Master Hiroshige, with the unmistakable presence of Mount Fuji.
